Adobe To Buy Day Software In $240 Mln Deal

Adobe Systems Inc has agreed to buy Switzerland-based Day Software Holding AG for about $240
million, to strengthen its enterprise software segment and add web content management software
to its portfolio.
Day will operate as a product line within Adobe's Digital enterprise solutions business unit and Day CEO Erik Hansen will join Adobe, the firms said.

The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Adobe's 2010 fiscal year. In a separate statement, Day Software reported total revenues of 25.1 million francs and net income of 3.7 million francs for the first half of 2010.
