3Com Appoints Country Manager For India

3Com Corporation has announced that Mohit Rampal has been appointed as the new country manager for 3Com-India.The naming of the new in-country management team is part of the overall integration of the 3Com and H3C Technologies sales and marketing teams, which was completed on July 11, 2007.

As leader of 3Com-India, Mohit will be responsible for all sales, customer and partner programs, as well as the day-to-day operations in the country. He will report directly to Peter Chai, VP and GM (Asia Pacific), 3Com Corporation.

"By integrating all of 3Com and H3C personnel in India and in other countries around the region, 3Com has created one unified company," said Chai. "With Mohit at the helm of the 3Com-India team, I am very confident that we now have the leadership in place that will help us win in both the large enterprise and SMB markets in India."

Prior to Joining 3Com India, Mohit was attached to Avaya Global Connect as their regional director handling the entire portfolio of regional operations. Earlier to which, he was assistant general manager overseeing sales operations at SafeNet India.
