New Delhi: State-run BEML Ltd's standalone net loss widened to Rs 107.10 crore for the quarter ended June 30.[caption id="attachment_2772580" align="alignleft" width="380"]
Reuters[/caption]The company had posted a net loss from ordinary activities after tax of Rs 68.10 crore in the year-ago period, BEML Ltd said in a BSE filing today.Net sales declined to Rs 291.93 crore, over Rs 581.30 crore in the year corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.Total expenses dropped to Rs 397.84 crore from Rs 653.89 crore in the year-ago period.BEML operates in three major business verticals for associated equipment manufacturing - mining and construction, defence and rail and metro.
