2G expose live: Collusion report correct to some extent, CBI to JPC on 2G

In the backdrop of the CNN-IBN exclusive on Monday on how CBI prosecutor AK Singh was reportedly hand in glove with the accused in the 2G case, CBI director Ranjit Sinha was today questioned by Opposition members about the removal of the prosecutor during a meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee examining the scam.

Sinha reportedly informed the JPC that the authenticity of the taped conversations is being verified. The taped conversations allegedly involved Singh and 2G scam accused and Unitech managing director Sanjay Chandra.
