Not appealing against formation of Modi govt, says petitioner

Petitioner Tabish Khair said the petition to political parties only appealed to them to stick to their promises made on secularism and did not attack the idea of democracy.

It has appealed to secular parties to stay true to their agenda -- what they had said during elections -- and not sell out to the NDA-faction. I would even say it is obliged to form the govt if BJP is the biggest party, and it should not get out of it like it did in Delhi some months ago! But the secular parties need to stay true to their electoral platforms and REFUSE to support. This is another matter. The secular party cannot and should not be part of such a govt and horse-trading should not take place.
