Can AAP fight the mighty politician-bureaucrat nexus?
Nowhere in the country, in fact, is the story different, since the wicked politician-administration nexus is universal all over India and pervades from top to bottom.

By TECHNO-ECONOMIST PATRIOTEditor's note: This is a reader comment we got on the article, AAP to form govt: Now comes their real test in Delhi published earlier today. As is Firstpost policy, we have lightly edited for grammar and spelling, but the comment has been left as is.16 out of the 18 points on which AAP sought to ascertain the Congress' and BJP's stand have been made out to be outside State legislative sphere (new legislation) and the remaining should be taken to Cental (parliamentary) action. That essentially boils down to getting the Delhi administration to work which in one word is not going to be possible. This is because all the departmentalized administrative machinery like electricity, water, police, .... are to all but 100% corrupted, lethargic and inefficient, and they were made so, historically, under the successive BJP/Congress administrations. And the politicians and independents and parties (other than AAP yet) are the very backbone of this corruption, lethargy, inaction and irresponsibility, misusing a labyrinth of rules and regulations and contractors/sub-contractors who are mostly the politicians' stooges/ protégés acting to do their behest.
